NTI

An NTI is a small plastic device that patients wear at night while sleeping.

It serves two main functions

• Occlusal splint to reduce the harmful effects of nocturnal bruxing (grinding one's teeth while asleep).
  
  
• Treatment of migraine where the trigger for the migraine is muscle spasm brought about by a grinding or clenching habit.
